      M'GARRY-BOYCE
      A popular and exceedingly pretty
      wedding was celebrated at St.
      Joseph's R.C. church, Chelsea, on
      Wednesday, May 31, when Mr Wm.
      M'Garry, of that township, oldest
      son of Mr and Mrs M'Garry, of
      Pascoe Vale, was united in the holy
      bonds of matrimony to Miss Alice
      Boyce, of Chelsea House, eldest
      daughter of Mrs and the late Mr J.
      Boyce, of Tallangatta, The cere
      mony was performed by the Rev.
      Father Fallon, assisted by the Rev.
      Father Bernstein. The bride, who
      was given away by her brother,
      Private G. H. Boyce (recently re
      turned from the front) looked charm
      ing, and was attired in a powder
      blue gabardine costume, with squir
      rel furs. She wore a white hat,
      trimmcd with fur and china roses,
      also a posy wristlet. The brides-
      maids were Miss V. Boyce, sister of
      the bride, and Miss Tessie Ryan,
      cousin. The former wore a navy
      costume, with white hat, and the
      latter a fawn gabardine costume and
      white hat. The best man was Mr
      E. Meredith, and the groomeman Mr
      H. M'Garry, brother of the bride
      groom. The "Wedding March" was
      played by Mrs Petersen, of Mentone.
      After the ceremony the bridal party
      and friends adjourned to Chelsea
      House, where the weddinig breakfast
      was partaken of and the usual toasts
      submitted and responded to. The
      evening was devoted to dancing and
      revelry and a very merry time spent
      by all. The happy couple left to
      spend the honeymoon at Daylesford.
