    • BARNAWARTHA.

      A wedding took place in Chiltern on Thursday, when Mr. Edward Elligate, sec ond son of Mrs. Elligate of Upper Indigo, was married to Miss Margaret Ann Devitt, eldest daughter of the late Patrick and Mrs. Devitt also of Upper Indigo Creek. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Fr. Smith. Miss J. Elligate (sister of groom) was bridesmaid, and' Mr. W. Devitt (brother of bride) best man. After the
      ceremony the happy couple returned to their new home, where they had to under go the ordeal of the old time cusom of tinkettling.
