  The Federal Standard, Chiltern, Friday, October 18, 1918 p2 c2 An interesting double wedding was celebrated at Boweya, near Wangaratta, on Tuesday, when Miss Evelyn Welsh, third daughter of Mr E J Welsh, was married to Mr Roderick Langdon, only son of Mr W H Langdon, Wahgunyah, and Miss Catherine Welsh, second daughter of Mr Welsh, was married to Mr William Devitt, eldest son of the late Mr P Devitt, Upper Indigo, Barnawartha. The brides were given away by their father. In the former wedding Miss M Langdon was bridesmaid, and in the latter Miss Maud Langdon acted in a similar capacity. Mr R Welsh was best man in each instance. The ceremonies were performed by Rev Mr Clemons, Benalla, assisted by Rev Mr Perkins. Wedding breakfast was served at the residence of the parents. Mr and Mrs Langdon will reside at Daysdale and the future home of Mr and Mrs Devitt will be at Barnawartha.
